Donald Trump maintains favored status to win the 2020 US Presidential Election at average odds of -120
Among Democrats, both Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris are gaining ground, though
The odds for Harris dropped from +1300 to +820. Warren’s odds lowered from +1700 to +1100
On the one hand, Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren are still a long way behind incumbent Donald Trump in the 2020 Presidential odds.
On the other hand, the 2020 election is still a long way off. And Harris and Warren are slowly but steadily eating away at Trump’s lead.
A cross-section of leading sportsbooks still put Trump as the odds-on -120 favorite to earn another four years in the Oval Office. But Warren and Harris are making strides.

Is Trump Starting to Worry?
For a guy who classified the Democratic Primary Debates as boring, Trump sure appeared to be a guy who was obsessed with them.
On the other side of the world at a G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan, Trump still felt the need to inform German leader Angela Merkel all about the goings-on in the debates.
Merkel must have been fascinated.
Harris Comes Out Swinging
An experienced trial lawyer and former Attorney General of California, debating figured to be right in Harris’ wheelhouse.
Was it ever.
She took aim at Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden. Harris delivered a major scoring blow when she called him out for his anti-busing stand during school desegregation in the 1970s.
To hammer home her point even more solidly, she followed up by posting a picture of a young girl – her – who was on those buses.
No one performed with more authority during the debates than Harris. It was suggested by one observer that she could prosecute the Presidency away from Trump.

Warren on Point
If you’re looking for flash and panache from Warren, you’ll be waiting a long time. She is the epitome of substance over style.
Watching Warren’s campaign is like the old fable about the race between the tortoise and the hare. She’s steadily built a following by staying on point. Warren is the policy candidate. She talks about them frequently. The more people listen, the more they appear to like what they hear.
It’s Early Yet
It would be wrong to state that Trump looks vulnerable at this point. The fact of the matter is that scenario isn’t going to unfold until the Democratic race becomes more certain.
Both Warren and Harris proved during the debates that they’d be more than capable of going toe-to-toe with Trump. They’ve both proven that they won’t back down from anyone.
Stay tuned. Things are beginning to get very interesting.
