Pep Thwarted at San Siro in Milan

Atalanta have gone up in the estimation of the analysts after holding Pep Guardiola’s star-studded City team to a 1-1 draw on Matchday 4 to earn their first point after three straight defeats.

It came as a surprise because they were hammered 5-1 when they visited Manchester earlier in the campaign.

Dinamo have drawn their two most recent fixtures. After sharing the spoils at 2-2 away against Shakhtar on Matchday 3, they drew 3-3 in the return tie in Croatia n Matchday 4.

Shakhtar scored twice in added time in the second game to deny Dinamo victory in dramatic circumstances.

The 2-1 defeat by Shakhtar in Italy on Matchday 2 was their first at home in 14 ties since a 4-2 defeat against Belgian side Mechelen in the 1987/88 European Cup Winners’ Cup semifinal second leg.

In a total of 19 European home matches, they have won 10, drawn seven and lost only twice,

Zagreb’s draw at Shakhtar on Matchday 5 ended a miserable run of 13 successive away defeats for the team in the UCL group stage.

Pick: Draw +288
