3:05 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 1) – Let Her Inspire U 10/11 (3-star play)
Performed to a good level in three starts in maiden special weight company at two, including when
following up a third-place finish over six-and-a-half furlongs at Saratoga in August, with a nose
second over six furlongs here a month later. She represents a top trainer in Todd Pletcher and with the
return to six-and-one-a-half furlongs no issue, she can make a winning seasonal debut and help John
Velazquez improve on his 16% strike rate (6/37) at this meeting in the process.
5:43 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 6) – Saint Selby 9/4 (2-star play)
Less exposed than most of his rivals here, he registered a second victory in his first three starts when
taking a six-furlong allowance race at Aqueduct by a length on his penultimate outing. However, he faded late when subsequently upped to seven furlongs on a good track. The return to six furlongs
here is in his favor and with the other obvious pace angle drawn widest of all, the son of Kantharos
is taken to make all.
6:45 pm ET Belmont Park (Race 8) – Diamond Hands 5/2 (2-star play)
Made all the running when delivering a two-length victory in a firm ground maiden special weight
over this course and distance in November, and came within two lengths of registering a first stakes
success when chasing home a Grade 1 winner in the Hilltop Stakes over a mile at Pimlico last month.
Trainer Christophe Clement boasts an impressive 29% strike rate (23/80) at this meeting and the
daughter of Frosted is expeted to register a victory down in grade.
